Raphaëlle Collou

Raphaëlle Collou is an autodidact French illustrator based in Ely. She paints sweet watercolour florals reminiscent of William Morris’s work and designs quirky, whimsical illustrations digitally, often paired with her original poetry. Though produced digitally, these works always start with pencil on paper in her prized sketchbook. For her, art is all about letting go and finding joy in who you are, and even though she is still very much on the beginning of that journey, every stroke and every encounter gets her closer to this goal.
